Basketball Game Preview: Genesee Wolves vs. Byron Eagles

The Genesee Wolves will face off against the Byron Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Byron took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Genesee, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, Genesee didn't have too much trouble with Farwell as they won 47-29.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Byron challenged Lakeville on Tuesday. Byron fell just short of Lakeville by a score of 60-58. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Genesee's victory ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-17. As for Byron, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14.

Genesee ended up a good deal behind Byron when the teams last played back in February of 2018, losing 66-47. Can Genesee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
