Basketball Recap: Harlem Takes a Loss

Harlem and DeKalb squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Harlem had to settle for second. They lost 53-32 to the DeKalb Barbs. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th in Illinois, while the Barbs are ranked 21st in Illinois).

Harlem has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-21 record this season. The win was the tenth in a row for DeKalb, bringing their record for this year to 26-6.

Harlem does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, DeKalb and Mundelein will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on March 10th.
