Volleyball Recap: East Kentwood Comes Up Short

East Kentwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Holland Christian Maroons. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Maroons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Kentwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-13-1. As for Holland Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

East Kentwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against St. Johns on the 6th. As for Holland Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Hudsonville on the 6th.
