Basketball Game Preview: Senn Bulldogs vs. Westinghouse Warriors

The Senn Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Westinghouse Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Senn is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 57 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against North Lawndale on Thursday. They took a 43-25 bruising from the Phoenix.

Meanwhile, Westinghouse and Crane Medical squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Westinghouse had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 64-39. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Cougars are ranked 122nd).

Westinghouse's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Senn, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Senn took a serious blow against Westinghouse when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 66-26. Thankfully for Senn, LaMonyca Bryant (who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
