Volleyball Recap: Cesar E. Chavez Takes a Loss

Cesar E. Chavez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Heights Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8, 25-12.

Cesar E. Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Heights, they pushed their record up to 26-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Cesar E. Chavez and Heights will both be playing Lamar the next time they take the court. The Lobos will head out to face the Texans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
