Softball Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson lost against King City back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates lost 13-7 to the Mustangs.

Sabrina Hardin was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and one double while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Maria Hall, who went 2-for-4 with three runs.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for King City, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stevenson will take on rival Soledad at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, King City is set to challenge their familiar foe Monte Vista Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
