Benet Academy and Marist are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but not for long. The Redwings will challenge the RedHawks at 8:55 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Benet Academy comes in on 18 and Marist on 13.

Benet Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Lockport.

Meanwhile, Marist faced Fremd in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The RedHawks came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0.

Marist's win bumped their record up to 35-5. As for Benet Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 39-2.

Benet Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Marist when the teams last played back in October, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redwings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
