Fruita Monument kept a clean sheet against Rifle on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Bears. Fruita Monument's winning goal came courtesy of Samuel Noem.

Fruita Monument now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Rifle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Fruita Monument wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Palisade on the 18th. As for Rifle, they will face off against Aspen at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
