Softball Recap: Ridgefield Spudders vs. Hockinson Hawks
There's no place like home for Ridgefield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They put the hurt on the Hockinson Hawks with a sharp 17-3 win on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spudders also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.
Madeline Bruguier made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
