Baseball Recap: Medina Christian Academy Finds Home Field Redemption Against Brooklyn

There's no place like home for Medina Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Brooklyn Hurricanes 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since April 24, 2024.

Noah Landers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Medina Christian Academy is 4-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Adam Collier was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Caden Dyer was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Medina Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
