Soccer Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Monroe can now relate to. They fell just short of the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors by a score of 4-3 on Friday. Monroe have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Monroe nor Edmonds-Woodway have any future games scheduled.
