Softball Recap: Cole Camp Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Cole Camp was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Green Ridge Tigers, falling 12-2. The Blue Birds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cole Camp saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madilynn Ogle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cole Camp has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Green Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Cole Camp and Green Ridge will both be playing Sweet Springs the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Blue Birds will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
