            North Hardin won the last time they faced John Hardin and things went their way  on Friday too. The Trojans blew past the Bulldogs 12-3. Considering the Trojans have won four matchups by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Sawyer Elms looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits.

 On the hitting side, North Hardin got a  massive  performance out of  Justice Hamilton, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  Hamilton a new career-high.  Colin Hamilton was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.
 North Hardin  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as John Hardin only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
North Hardin's  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-8. As for John Hardin, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-5.
 North Hardin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  12-2  loss against Adair County on the 11th. As for John Hardin, they will challenge Bethlehem at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
