Softball Game Preview: Fenton Bison vs. Ridgewood Rebels

The Fenton Bison are taking a road trip to square off against the Ridgewood Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Fenton nor Ridgewood posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Fenton is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Riverside-Brookfield just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 12-1.

Riverside-Brookfield hit Ridgewood with a five-run fourth inning last Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rebels lost 13-0 to the Bulldogs. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fenton now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Ridgewood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Fenton beat Ridgewood 5-2 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
