Millington Central hadn't done well against Covington recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Chargers. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (90-88) Millington Central actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-20, 25-21, 26-24.

Millington Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Covington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Millington Central is taking a road trip to face off against Munford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covington, they will challenge Douglass at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
