Basketball Recap: Snyder Takes a Loss

Snyder lost against Liberty on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Snyder Tigers were outmatched by the Liberty Patriots and fell 53-20. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 762nd, while the Patriots are ranked 301st).

Snyder has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-22 record this season. As for Liberty, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-12.

Snyder will take on Big Spring at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Liberty has already played their next game (against Lake View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
