Volleyball Recap: Franklin's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Franklin waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Pisgah Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Franklin walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21, 25-18.

Leading Franklin to victory were Shelby Adams and Lass Ward. Adams had 16 assists and seven digs, while Ward had nine digs and three assists. That's the most assists Adams has posted over her last six contests.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Pisgah, they dropped their record down to 10-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Tuscola on the 25th. As for Pisgah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against West Henderson on the 25th.
