Basketball Recap: Emmett Laclair's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northern Adirondack over Ticonderoga

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northern Adirondack can now relate to. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ticonderoga Sentinels on Tuesday. The match marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emmett LaClair, who on his way to 12 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Tucker, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Northern Adirondack is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Ticonderoga, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Northern Adirondack nor Ticonderoga have any future games scheduled.
