Basketball Recap: Snook Bluejays vs. Bruceville-Eddy Eagles

It was a Battle of the Birds when Snook challenged Bruceville-Eddy on Friday. The Snook Bluejays took a hard 58-44 fall against the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles. The Bluejays just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Kambrie Diaz was her usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-7 from downtown and almost dropping a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds for Bruceville-Eddy. The match was Diaz's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Inary Hernandez, who went 5 for 10 en route to 15 points plus five assists and two steals.

Snook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Bruceville-Eddy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
