Basketball Recap: RHAM Comes Up Short

RHAM was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ledyard Colonels. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Colonels are ranked 19th).

RHAM's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ledyard, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ledyard beat RHAM by a score of 54-42 on Saturday.
