Soccer Recap: Randall's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dumas, Randall was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 5-3 win over the Canyon Eagles. The high-scoring effort was just what the Raiders needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

The victory snapped Randall's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4-1 record. As for Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3-3.

Randall and Canyon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Randall will face off against West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 353 places (621 vs. 268). Similarly, Canyon (ranked 539th) will meet Dumas (ranked 190th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
