Recap: Riverside Christian Wranglers vs. Fort White Indians

This season hasn't been kind to the Riverside Christian Wranglers, who are still winless after their 12th game. Their tough 34-8 loss to Fort White on Friday might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Riverside Christian has scored all season.

Fort White got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jermauni Byrd out in front who scored seven points along with seven steals. Byrd is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Isreal Hart was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and four blocks.

Riverside Christian bumped their record down to 0-12 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Fort White, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside Christian will take on Bell at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday. As for Fort White, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
