While Boys' Latin Charter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-9-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the West Philadelphia Speedboys on Wednesday. Boys' Latin Charter's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Chris Dempsey and Sebastian Hernandez did most of the damage at the plate: Dempsey scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in five of his nine plate appearances, while Hernandez scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-5. Hernandez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Boys' Latin Charter's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for West Philadelphia, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Boys' Latin Charter will be playing at home against Science Leadership Academy at Beeber at 3:15 p.m. on the 4th. As for West Philadelphia, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 21-11 victory against Constitution on the 27th.
