Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Gets the Win

Sheridan posted their closest win since November 7, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Tongue River Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncs.

Valli Frost was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

Frost wasn't the only good server: Sheridan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive games.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Tongue River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Sheridan has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Big Horn on the 6th. As for Tongue River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Natrona County on the 6th.
