Baseball Recap: Cedar Creek Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Cedar Creek Christian had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the City of Life Christian Academy Warriors by a score of 7-4 on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Ricky Hamilton, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Dereck Garcia was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Cedar Creek Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-16. As for City of Life Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Creek Christian will head out to take on Westside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Saints are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for City of Life Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Real Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raptors have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
