Basketball Recap: Columbia Christian Takes a Loss

Columbia Christian and Lafayette County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Columbia Christian had to settle for second. They took a 58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette County Cougars. The Crusaders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 55-50.

Columbia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Lafayette County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-7.

Columbia Christian has already played their next contest, a 54-42 win against Emerson on the 21st. Lafayette County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
