Basketball Recap: Lynden Takes a Loss

Lynden entered their matchup against Lakewood on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lynden Lions were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Lakewood Cougars. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lynden fell to 22-1. As for Lakewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lynden nor Lakewood have any future games scheduled.
