Football Recap: Bayside Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Bayside unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 20-12 to the St. Edward's Pirates on Friday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The critical scores for St. Edward's came from Amare Mccoy, Ivan Kelly, and Connor O'Brien.

Coming up, Bayside will look to defend their home field on Friday against Atlantic at 7:00 p.m. As for St. Edward's, they will head out to take on Glades Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
