Volleyball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park lost against New Trier back in June of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Giants fell just short of the Trevians by a score of 2-1. The Giants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highland Park started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-10, 27-25.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for New Trier, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Highland Park has already played their next contest (against Vernon Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for New Trier, they will venture away from home to take on Maine South at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
