Gavin Purdy Game Report: @ Sharon

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Gavin Purdy: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also rushed for 34 yards and one score as Grove City fell to Sharon 23-14. We hope Purdy's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Purdy and Grove City will square off against Hickory at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will pit Purdy up against the Hornets' star running back Kelvin Morrison. It's not every day two stars like this collide on the field. So who leaves it the victor? You'll have to watch the game to find out.
