Volleyball Game Preview: Da Vinci Dragons vs. Rose of Sharon

The Da Vinci Dragons will head out on the road to face off against Rose of Sharon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Da Vinci is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Thursday, Da Vinci made easy work of El Paso HomeSchool and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Da Vinci won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Rose of Sharon got the win against Job Corps last Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for Rose of Sharon in their matchups with Job Corps: they've now won four in a row.

Rose of Sharon never let Job Corps on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11, 27-25.

Rose of Sharon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Da Vinci, their victory bumped their record up to 27-3-1.

Da Vinci took their win against Rose of Sharon when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
