Basketball Recap: Kyndall Bowen Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win

Windsor Academy hadn't done well against Strong Rock Christian recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Knights enjoyed a cozy 41-23 victory over the Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Windsor Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyndall Bowen out in front who posted 17 points along with seven boards and six steals. That's the most steals Bowen has posted since back in December of 2024. Kennedi Harris was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Strong Rock Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Norsworthy, who had five points in addition to six boards and six steals. Norsworthy has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ailie Vaughn, who put up eight points.

Windsor Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Strong Rock Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Windsor Academy has already played their next matchup, a 72-16 victory against Covenant Academy on the 20th. As for Strong Rock Christian, they will challenge Mount de Sales Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
