Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shining Star Sports Academy). They blew past the Life Center Academy Warriors 100-28 on Saturday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Shining Star Sports Academy to victory were Syvannah Dawson and Harissoum Coulibaly. Dawson went 9 for 13 to rack up 22 points in addition to seven assists and four steals, while Coulibaly went 9 of 11 on her way to 19 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Dawson now owns an excellent 45.7% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Filomena Luis, who went 6 for 11 en route to 12 points and eight steals.

Shining Star Sports Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points over those games. As for Life Center Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Coming up, Shining Star Sports Academy and Cresset Christian Academy will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday without much rest having both just played. As for Life Center Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Riverdale Baptist at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
