Volleyball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Chillicothe Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Cynthia Castle paced Cameron's offense, picking up four kills. Castle got some help from Edie Ormsby and her 15 assists. Claire Hovey controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cameron's defeat dropped their record down to 5-27-1. As for Chillicothe, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 29-4.

Cameron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chillicothe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Bishop LeBlond on the 23rd.
