Basketball Recap: Grant Provda and Chezky Levitt Secure Win for Kohelet Yeshiva

There's no place like home for Kohelet Yeshiva, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 64-59 win over the Foundation Collegiate Academy Wolves on Thursday. With that victory, Kohelet Yeshiva brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.

Kohelet Yeshiva was led to victory by Chezky Levitt and Grant Provda. Levitt dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds, while Provda went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points and three steals. Levitt has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadar SimonHazani, who posted eight points.

Kohelet Yeshiva was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win got Kohelet Yeshiva back to even at 6-6. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kohelet Yeshiva will take on Barrack Hebrew Academy at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kohelet Yeshiva is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for Foundation Collegiate Academy, they will square off against Mesivta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
