Hicksville has gone a perfect 8-0 against Delta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Aces will take on the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

Hicksville lost 10-3 to Paulding on Thursday.

Taylor Slattery made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lilly Porter, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Delta fell victim to Bryan and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 12-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Hicksville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Hicksville came out on top in a nail-biter against Delta when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 7-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aces since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
