Volleyball Recap: Kearney Comes Up Short

Kearney was the 2-0 winner over Bennington when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats fell 2-0 to the Badgers on Saturday.

Jamie Wilkens paced Kearney's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wilkens got some help from Lena Arnold and her 18 assists. Arnold was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Kearney's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bennington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Kearney has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Northwest on the 2nd. As for Bennington, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Norris on Thursday. The match will give the Badgers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
