Softball Recap: Fort Kent Comes Up Short

After flying high against Madawaska on Monday, Fort Kent came back down to earth. The Warriors lost 20-8 to the Presque Isle Wildcats on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Fort Kent's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Presque Isle, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Fort Kent will take on Fort Fairfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Presque Isle, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Houlton at 4:30 p.m.
