Volleyball Game Preview: Santana Sultans vs. Granite Hills Eagles

The Santana Sultans will venture away from home to challenge the Granite Hills Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Santana beat Grossmont 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Sultans in their matchups with the Foothillers: they've now won three in a row.

Santana was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 23-25, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills had just enough and edged out St. Augustine 2-1 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Santana's record is now 5-6. As for Granite Hills, their record is now 10-8.

Santana might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Granite Hills when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Santana avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
