Basketball Recap: Winter Finds Playoff Glory Versus Mercer

With a playoff win on the line, Winter rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took down the Mercer Tigers 70-51. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory (which was Winter's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Mercer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Winter nor Mercer have any future games scheduled.
