Leominster has gone a perfect 5-0 against Marlborough recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Leominster didn't have quite enough to beat Ayer Shirley and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Marlborough faced Lexington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Minutemen, falling 3-0.

While Marlborough was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lexington's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-20.

Marlborough's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Leominster, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Leominster got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 against Marlborough by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
