Basketball Game Preview: Christian Learning Center Mustangs vs. Overland Christian Eagle

The Christian Learning Center Mustangs and the Overland Christian Eagle will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. The timing is sure in Christian Learning Center's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Overland Christian has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, Christian Learning Center ended up a good deal behind Plaza Heights Christian Academy and lost 61-47.

Meanwhile, Overland Christian was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 34-33 to Clinton Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Eagle can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 460th in Kansas, while the Patriots are ranked 227th in Missouri).

Christian Learning Center's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Overland Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Christian Learning Center didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Overland Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 46-42 win.
