Football Recap: Dysart Piles Up the Points Against San Tan Foothills

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Benjamin Franklin, Dysart was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 40-0 victory over the San Tan Foothills Sabercats. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Demons considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

Dysart had a senior duo take command as Donovan Hinchey gained 201 total yards and three touchdowns and Jevon Christmas rushed for 194 yards and one TD on only 13 carries. Christmas' longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Dysart was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 350 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

The win got Dysart back to even at 1-1. As for San Tan Foothills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Dysart will head out on the road to challenge Sabino at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Tan Foothills, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Payson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
