Basketball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. King City Wildkats

The Princeton Tigers will face off against the King City Wildkats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Princeton will be strutting in after a victory while King City will be coming in after a loss.

Princeton took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Mercer 60-31. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, King City's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a 32-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Albany.

Princeton pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for King City, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Princeton strolled past King City in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 49-30. Will Princeton repeat their success, or does King City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
