Volleyball Recap: Detroit Lakes Takes a Loss

Detroit Lakes lost against St. Cloud Tech back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lakers lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Hailey Larson and Talyn Anderson, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Player #10 and her 22 assists. Finally, Larson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Detroit Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for St. Cloud Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Detroit Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Cloud Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Annandale on the 28th.
