Basketball Game Preview: Itawamba Agricultural Indians vs. Muscle Shoals Trojans

The Itawamba Agricultural Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Muscle Shoals Trojans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Itawamba Agricultural is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 66-24 victory over Aberdeen. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 273rd), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Muscle Shoals beat Marion County 55-43 on Friday.

Muscle Shoals' win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
