Softball Recap: Mishicot Indians vs. Reedsville Panthers

Mishicot put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Reedsville Panthers onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering Mishicot has won 16 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Kiran Sanford was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over five innings pitched. Sanford has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Sanford was also big at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Cora Nelson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Sierra Skarda was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing four bases.
