After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Herbert Hoover, Ravenswood was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Point Pleasant Big Blacks, sneaking past 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Ravenswood were the better team in the second half.

Addie McCorkle and Lily Stewart scored both of Ravenswood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Ravenswood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three matchups. As for Point Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Ravenswood will challenge Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Point Pleasant, they will square off against Winfield at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
