The Victory Christian Academy Chargers will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Eagle Ridge Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Victory Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
The third road game was the charm for Victory Christian Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis with a 36-32 win on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Eagle Ridge Christian pushed their score all the way to 60 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-60 to Marquand-Zion.
Despite the loss, Eagle Ridge Christian had strong showings from Noah Simpson, who scored 27 points, and Caleb Margrabe, who scored 19 points. Simpson has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played.
Victory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
