Football Recap: Daniel Boone Comes Up Short

Daniel Boone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 44-28 to the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blazers of the 19-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Daniel Boone's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Eastern Lebanon County, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Coming up, Daniel Boone will square off against Wyomissing at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastern Lebanon County, they are taking a road trip to take on Octorara Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
